Mark Evans

Mark Evans has over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry. Mark is currently the Managing Director, Platform & Operations Technology at CAIS. Prior to joining CAIS, Mark was the Executive Director at AQR Capital Management from July 2014 to January 2021.

Before AQR, Mark was at MarketAxess Holdings Inc. from March 2000 to June 2014 where they were the Head of Change Management and Production Services. During their time at MarketAxess, they led a team of over 100 staff in multiple locations and was responsible for all aspects of technology change management and production operations.

Mark started their career in 1996 at RIA where they worked in Production Support. Mark held this position until 2000 when they joined MarketAxess.

Mark Evans has a Bachelor of Arts in English from the State University of New York College at Buffalo.

They are on a team with George Davies - Head, Data, Deepak Puri - Director, Technology Business Management. Mark Evans reports to Shane Williams, Chief Technology and Product Officer.
