Nathan Laage

Nathan Laage, NCSO, has extensive experience in transmission operations, with a background that includes roles at ISO New England Inc. as Assistant Outage Coordinator, where automation efforts improved outage study efficiency and coordinator awareness. Nathan also worked at PJM Interconnection, first as a contractor in transmission operations, identifying key information for model accuracy and preparing Special Protection Schemes for NERC standards updates, and later as a co-op, inspecting equipment outage requests and participating in outage study analysis. Most recently, Nathan held two concurrent positions at California ISO as a Real Time Market Operator and Senior Reliability and Market Operations Engineer. Nathan holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering Technologies from Drexel University.
