Robbie Chen

Robbie (Xieming) Chen is currently a Senior Reliability and Market Operations Engineer at California ISO, where they provide engineering support for real-time grid and market operations. Since 2017, Robbie has been responsible for analyzing reliability concerns, documenting operating procedures, and participating in ISO policy development. Previously, they served as a NERC Compliance Consultant at Burns & McDonnell, developing compliance programs and assisting with regulatory audits. Robbie also has experience as a Transmission Planning Engineer at Entergy and as a Senior Technical Intern at Toronto Hydro. They hold a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Engineering Science from the University of Toronto.
