Alex OpBroek, CPA, currently serves as the VP and Corporate Controller at CAI Software, LLC since November 2025. Previously, Alex held the position of VP, Global Corporate Controller at Smarsh from May 2017 to November 2025, specializing in electronic communication archival and compliance solutions. Alex’s career also includes roles as Interim Chief Financial Officer, Corporate Controller, and Assistant Controller at Smarsh, as well as an Accounting Manager position. As a Committee Member for the Oregon Board of Accountancy's Laws & Rules Committee from February to October 2019, Alex contributed to important regulatory discussions. Prior experience at Deloitte as an Audit Senior included serving a diverse client base across various industries. Alex's educational background includes a BA in Accounting and Finance from George Fox University, complemented by early involvement in student government and financial advising through internships.
