Joel Wetzell

Joel Wetzell is an experienced technology professional currently serving as an Enterprise Technology Engineer and Application Developer at the Center for the Application of Information Technologies (CAIT) since April 2020. Previously, Joel held the positions of Application Programmer I and Graduate Teaching Assistant at Western Illinois University from August 2017 to March 2020, and served as a Support Center Technician at the same institution from August 2014 to May 2017. Early career experience includes a role as a Tech Assistant at the Whiteside Area Career Center from March 2013 to August 2015. Joel holds a Master of Science in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Western Illinois University, as well as a high school diploma from Sterling High School.
