Luis Javier Blas

Luis Javier Blas is the current COO at CaixaBank. Prior to this, they served as a member of the board at Redsys España from June 2016 to January 2020. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing the company's operations and ensuring its compliance with regulations. From August 2015 to January 2020, they also served as Head of Engineering & Local Head of Data at BBVA España. In this role, they were responsible for leading the engineering team and overseeing the company's data strategy. Luis is an experienced executive with a proven track record in leading and transforming companies in the financial services industry.

Luis Javier Blas has a degree in law from Universidad de Alcalá. Luis also has an Advanced Management Program from ESE - Universidad de los Andes, and a Programa Corporativo de Dirección from IESE Business School.
