Roc Alabern

Roc Alabern is an experienced professional in the fields of data science and risk analytics, currently serving as the Manager of the Artificial Intelligence Models team in the Risk department at CaixaBank since May 2019. Previously, Roc held the position of Head of Data Science at Pagantis, overseeing the Data Scientist Department and focusing on fraud and credit risk for online consumer credit. Roc's career also includes roles as a Data Scientist/Project Manager at Banc Sabadell, a Data Scientist at DatKnoSys, and a consultant with Aplicaciones en Informática Avanzada. Early in the career, Roc contributed as a Graduate Research Scholar at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and worked as a Foreign Exchange Market Analyst at La Caixa. Roc holds a Master's degree in Advanced Studies in Harmonic Analysis and a Master's in Mathematics for Financial Instruments, along with a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, all from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.
