Francois Lane

Francois Lane is an accomplished entrepreneur with extensive experience in the digital marketing and e-commerce sectors. As the Founder and CEO of Cakemail since November 2007, Francois has built a platform that supports the email marketing needs of hundreds of companies, delivering billions of emails. Francois also founded Courrielleur in March 2002 to assist Quebec SMBs and organizations, which is now part of Cakemail. In addition, Francois serves as President of Gertrude & Régina and Producer at Zoyth, a company that produces unique music events with a jazzy twist. Earlier career highlights include founding Mastodonte Communication, a viral marketing company acquired in 2007, and leading the e-commerce division at BRANCHEZ-VOUS! after its acquisition of MicroSon, which Francois founded and led as CEO, becoming one of Canada's early e-commerce ventures. Educational credentials include participation in the Entrepreneurship Development Program at MIT Sloan School of Management in 2012 and studies at HEC Montréal.
