Alejandra Yep

Alejandra Yep is a Professor at California Polytechnic State University, where they have also served as an Associate Professor and Assistant Professor since 2014. Their research interests include bacterial pathogenesis, urinary tract infections, and polymicrobial infections, while they focus on teaching general microbiology, bacterial genetics, and medical microbiology. Alejandra previously held the role of Assistant Research Scientist at the University of Michigan from 2011 to 2014 and was a Visiting Scholar at Michigan State University from 2002 to 2005. They earned a PhD in Biological Chemistry from the University of Buenos Aires in 2004.
