Jean Davidson

Associate Professor of Genomics and Bioinformatics, Cal Poly San Luis Obispo

Jean Davidson is an accomplished researcher and educator in genomics and bioinformatics, currently serving as an Associate Professor at California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo since 2018. Jean's past experience includes roles such as a Graduate Student Researcher at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a Clinical Genome Scientist for the Undiagnosed Disease Network, and a Data Wrangler at Stanford University School of Medicine. Additionally, Jean has held positions at the National Institutes of Health and UC Davis, focusing on various aspects of genetic research and molecular mechanisms. In 2024, Jean will begin work as a Fulbright Scholar in Iceland, where they will teach and conduct research while fostering international collaborations.
