John Smith is a distinguished basketball coach currently serving as the Head Men’s Basketball Coach at California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo since 2019, and has been involved with NCAA as a basketball coach since 2024. Previously, they held the position of Associate Head Men's Basketball Coach at California State University, Fullerton from 2013 to 2019, and served as the Head Men's Basketball Coach at San Bernardino Valley College from 2000 to 2004. John earned a Master's degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from Azusa Pacific University and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Dominican University.
