Joni Roberts

Dr. Joni Roberts is an Assistant Professor in the Kinesiology and Public Health Department at Cal Poly, where they teach courses on public health and sexual health education. With a Doctorate in Public Health and a strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, Joni leads the Sexual and Reproductive Health Lab, focusing on research that aims to improve sexual health education and reduce health disparities. Currently, Joni also owns JKR Consulting, providing services aimed at advancing public health education and fostering inclusivity. They have previously held teaching positions at several universities and have been involved in various community outreach initiatives.
