Rob Carter

Rob Carter is a Key Professor for the Foundry Educational Foundation at California Polytechnic State University, where they have been active since 2018. They have held various roles within the university, including Lead Faculty for Net Shape Manufacturing and Electronics Manufacturing, and have contributed to committees focused on safety and equity. Prior to their current role, they worked as a Senior Materials & Processes Engineer at TRW/Northrop Grumman from 1997 to 2001, supporting electronics manufacturing and spacecraft testing. Rob is also pursuing a B.S. in Metallurgical Engineering and an M.S. in Materials Science & Engineering from California Polytechnic State University and UCLA, respectively.
