Sam Roach

Sam Roach is a Mechanical Engineering student at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, expected to graduate in 2026. They have gained valuable experience as a grader for Mechanical Design 1 and are currently conducting deep learning research on multi-scale modeling of granular materials. Previously, Sam worked as a project management intern at Rosendin, managing the electrical scope of a Meta data center, and served as a mechanical engineering intern at Lam Research, focusing on electrochemical deposition tool design. Additionally, Sam has held roles in hospitality while pursuing their studies.
