Jared Morales, EIT

Jared Morales, EIT, has a diverse work experience in various engineering roles. In 2014, they worked as a SolidWorks Drafting Intern at DMC Power, where they drafted 3D models and communicated with city officials regarding draft designs. From 2018 to 2019, they served as a Software Developer at Alder Holdings, LLC, creating automated quality assurance tests and engaging in progress meetings. In 2019, they worked as a Project Engineer at ISAT Seismic Bracing, managing multiple projects and analyzing structural models. From 2020 to 2021, they served as a Design Engineer at Shorebreak Energy Developers, utilizing Revit for drafting and designing solar panel arrays. Currently, since 2021, they hold the position of Senior Design Engineer at Cal Solar Inc., performing solar design intake and leading drafter-designers in providing solar plansets and CAD drawings.

Jared Morales, EIT, holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Utah. Jared completed their undergraduate education from 2014 to 2018. In addition to their degree, Jared has obtained various certifications and completed online courses to enhance their skills and knowledge. Some of their certifications include Engineer In Training from the California Department of Consumer Affairs, obtained in June 2021, and a Certified SOLIDWORKS Associate, obtained from Dassault Systèmes in November 2017. Jared has also completed several online courses related to solar energy systems and design, as well as courses on BIM management and Revit software. These courses were completed through institutions such as Coursera, LinkedIn, and SolidProfessor, between 2017 and 2020.
