Mike Ting

Mike Ting is the VP Hardware and Cofounder at Cala Systems, where they focus on designing, manufacturing, and selling the world's first intelligent heat pump water heater. Previously, they held various positions at SharkNinja, including Senior Technical Product Manager and Engineering Manager, where they contributed to the development of innovative kitchen appliances. With experience as a Mechanical Engineer at Bose Corporation, Mike was involved in all stages of product development for wireless headphones and earned multiple patents. They began their career as an Engineering Intern at Cooper Perkins, enhancing a product for wine pouring, which successfully launched in 2013. Mike holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from McGill University.
