Daniel Hanson

Daniel Hanson is an experienced engineering professional with a career spanning over 18 years in hardware and electrical engineering. Currently serving as the Director of Hardware Engineering at CalAmp since May 2005, Daniel leads OEM telematics platform development and previously held roles including Principal Electrical Engineer and Senior Electrical Engineer, where responsibilities encompassed embedded design and analog-digital integration. Daniel began the career at Dataradio working on public safety and telemetry radio systems, contributing to FCC compliance testing and RF system prototyping. Daniel earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Minnesota State University, Mankato in 2005.
