Steven Michaelson is a former advertising executive who retired from agency life in March 2023 after more than 40 years in the industry, including over 25 in pharmaceuticals. They founded Wishbone and led it for 13 years, earning Agency of the Year in 2009, with Wishbone later acquired by Rosetta and Publicis. In 2012 they founded Calcium and, with partner Judy Capano, purchased the agency in 2015, leading Calcium until retirement from the field in 2023. Currently they lead One Lucky Knucklehead (OLK On The Loose) and hold the role of Founder/Chairman of Calcium+Company. They earned a BFA in Fine Art/Advertising from Pratt Institute (1977–1979) and a Certificate in Advertising Design from NSFIA (1974–1977).
