Steve Smith

Steve Smith, MBA, has extensive experience in various leadership and technical roles across multiple organizations since the late 1990s. Currently serving as a Contractor at Calculated Hire since October 2019, Steve was previously Semi Retired to focus on family from 2015 to 2019. Prior roles include Assistant Director of Contracts at Southern Illinois University, where responsibilities included managing student housing contracts, and several leadership positions in information technology at organizations such as The MENTOR Network and NeuroRestorative. Steve holds multiple certifications, including Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH). Educational qualifications include an MBA in Finance & Operations Management, a Master’s Degree in Rehabilitation Administration & Services, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, all from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale.
