Evaristo Amaro

Evaristo Amaro has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Evaristo is currently serving as the Chief Innovation Officer at Calculus Networks SA de CV since May 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Director de Desarrollo de Negocios at the same company starting from January 2020. Evaristo also worked at Propia from November 2019, where they focused on developing new businesses and opportunities, providing sales consultancy, and developing new products and channels for companies in the industry.

Before joining Propia, Evaristo worked at EXFO as the RSM Mexico / Gerente de Ventas from January 2016 to November 2019. Evaristo was responsible for sales management in Mexico. From January 2015 to December 2016, Evaristo served as the Director de Nuevo Producto at Lumos Mexico SA de CV, where they introduced solar-powered products to the Mexican market. Evaristo also had a role as Gerente de Ventas Mexico at Tejas Networks from January 2013 to January 2016.

Evaristo has prior experience as the Director de Proyectos de Innovación at Lambda Systems SA de CV in 2012 and as the Gerente General at Operadora Saftacar SA de CV from 2010 to 2012. Evaristo also worked as a Gerente de Soporte at Triohmtec de Mexico SA de CV from January 2002 to December 2010 and as the Responsable de Laboratorio y Soporte at Wandel Global Services SA De CV from March 2000 to December 2001.

Throughout their career, Evaristo has demonstrated expertise in innovation, new business development, sales management, product development, and support management.

Evaristo Amaro obtained a Master's degree in International Solar Energy from the Universidad de Valladolid, specifically from the Instituto Internacional de Ingeniería Ambiental, from 2015 to 2016. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering at the Tecnológico de Monterrey, from 1998 to 2001. In addition, in 1998 and 1999, Evaristo also completed a diploma in Robotics and Computer Vision from the University of Oxford. In terms of certifications, Evaristo recently obtained a Cradlepoint Certified Sales Associate certification from Cradlepoint in September 2021.
