Jeff Cho

Jeff Cho is a seasoned professional in cybersecurity, currently serving as a Cyber Security Engineering Officer at the Department of National Defence since February 2007, where responsibilities include project management and overseeing the CP140 "Aurora" WSM. As a founder and executive producer at Caldera Interactive, an indie game studio based in Edmonton, Alberta, Jeff focuses on developing a non-violent cooperative horror adventure game with a commitment to diversity and ethical principles in game development. Jeff's involvement in academia includes co-founding the Canada Open-Source Projects initiative, serving as an executive producer and research assistant at the University of Alberta in various computing science courses, and mentoring interdisciplinary teams in game development projects. Additionally, Jeff has held leadership roles such as Vice President of Interactive Arts Alberta, contributing to the advancement of gaming as an art form. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Computing Science and a Bachelor of Science with a specialization in Computing Science, both from the University of Alberta, alongside a Certificate in Computer Game Development.
