Scott Gilbert

Scott Gilbert has a diverse work experience in the telecommunications industry. Scott currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer at Calero-MDSL since January 2021. Prior to that, they held the position of President at the same company from December 2019 to January 2021.

Before joining Calero-MDSL, Scott worked at Calero Software as the Chief Operating Officer from December 2018 to December 2019.

From 2014 to 2018, Scott worked at FirstLight Fiber, initially serving as the Chief Information Officer and EVP from May 2014 to December 2018. Scott then took on the role of Vice President & General Manager for the New York region from October 2014 to February 2017.

Scott's career began at Telecon Communications Corp as a Programmer from December 1996 to June 2000. Scott then joined Cleartel Communications as the VP of Information Technology from July 2000 to July 2006.

In 2006, Scott joined CornerStone where they held various roles. Scott first served as the Chief Information Officer from August 2006 to December 2010. Scott then became the Chief Operating Officer from December 2010 to April 2014, where their primary responsibility was to support and service customers throughout the entire lifecycle, ensuring their needs were met in the rapidly evolving field of advanced communications solutions for businesses.

Scott Gilbert completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Information Science from Hartwick College, where they studied from 1994 to 1998. Scott then pursued further education at Union College, obtaining a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Management from 1998 to 2000.
