Herbert Romer

Herbert Romer has extensive experience in avionics instruction and maintenance, beginning with a position as an Avionics Technician in 1980. Key roles include Contract Avionics Instructor at Calian since November 2008, responsible for lesson plan development and training in Automatic Flight Control Systems. Prior to that, as Crew Supervisor at CFB Gagetown 403 SQN, oversight of a 15-member crew ensured effective maintenance and mission execution for the CH-146 Griffon helicopter. Additional instructional roles at CFB Borden and CFB Winnipeg involved training apprentices and journeymen in various avionics systems. Education includes an Integral Systems Technician Apprentice Course from the Canadian Forces School of Aerospace and Ordance Engineering and a Grade 12 Diploma from Michipicoten High School.
