Peter Sonneby, born in 1954 in Copenhagen, served in the Royal Danish Air Force starting in 1975 and held various leadership roles over three decades, including Brigadier General commanding NATO's Joint Analysis and Lessons Learned Centre. Their extensive military career included positions such as Deputy Director of Staff at SHAPE and Commander of HAWK Squadron 531. Peter retired from military service in 2014 and currently contributes as a Senior Consultant and Subject Matter Expert with Calian Group. They have also been involved in NATO exercises and the development of the new NATO Command Structure. Peter possesses a Bachelor from the Royal Danish Air Force Academy and a Master's from the Royal Air Force Staff College.
