Torbjørn Eidal is a Defence Specialist with extensive experience in military operations and strategic planning. They served as Branch Head for Capabilities and Readiness in the Operations Division at Defence Staff Norway from 2014 to 2018 and held various roles in NATO and the Royal Norwegian Navy throughout their career, including Commanding Officer of submarines. Eidal has also worked as a Defence Attaché for the Norwegian Ministry of Defence and has been with Calian Group as an SME in Strategic Planning since 2022. They hold degrees from the Royal Norwegian Naval Academy and the Collège Interarmées de Défense in Paris, among others.
