Dan Ming is a Peabody-winning journalist and filmmaker currently serving as the Senior Correspondent for The News Movement, where they tell bold, nonjudgmental stories. Previously, Dan worked as a correspondent for VICE News, earning an Emmy nomination for their coverage of the 2020 COVID outbreak in New York City, and co-produced the documentary "Take Your Pills" for Netflix, which garnered a News & Documentary Emmy nomination. Dan has also held positions at Al Jazeera Media Network and VICE News, where they contributed to award-winning projects, including the series "Transnational." Educated at SOAS University of London, Dan holds a Master's degree in Medical Anthropology and a Bachelor's degree in Peace and Conflict Studies from Vassar College.
