Greg James currently serves as COO and Head of Asset Management at Caliber, a position held since October 2024. Prior to this role, Greg was with Summit Hotel Properties, Inc. from January 2013 to October 2024, where responsibilities included Senior Vice President of Operations, Senior Vice President of Asset Management, and Vice President of Asset Management. Experience also includes serving as Area General Manager at Interstate Hotels & Resorts from August 2005 to December 2012, and being a key member of the pre-construction and opening team at JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort Spa and Golf from 2002 to 2005. Earlier in the career, Greg contributed to the opening team at JW Marriott Las Vegas Resort Spa and Golf and held various operations and sales management roles at multiple Marriott locations from 1991 to 2001. Greg earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Arizona State University and attended Quince Orchard High School and Staples High School.
