Thomas Lai is an experienced Mechanical Engineer currently working at Caliber Design since February 2023, where significant contributions include streamlining drawing publication processes for Babcock NZ. Previous experience includes a Design Engineer role at Moda Systems NZ Ltd, focusing on BOM management, assembly drawings, project management, and equipment commissioning. Thomas's earlier roles range from Assistant Project Engineer at Smith & Loveless Inc. to various positions in academic and service environments, where skills in problem-solving, project management, and technical design were developed. Thomas holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Auckland, complemented by international education in engineering and matriculation.
