Dower Chin

Dower Chin has been working in the software engineering and web development industries since 1995. Dower began their career as a New Media Developer at Applied Graphics Technologies, where they worked on CD and web-based projects for companies such as Disney, Universal Studios, and Acura. Dower then moved on to Rochester Institute of Technology in 1998, where they served as Webmaster and provided leadership for the university's Internet initiatives. In 2002, Chin started working at Preferred Care as the company's first official Webmaster, where they were responsible for developing and maintaining the company website and customer web portals. In 2009, Preferred Care was acquired by MVP Health Care, and Chin became a Senior Systems Analyst. In 2011, Chin began working at Caliber Imaging & Diagnostics, Inc. (formerly Lucid, Inc.) as a Senior Software Engineer, managing and developing cloud-based software solutions for medical devices. In 2016, Chin began working at Rochester Institute of Technology as an Adjunct Faculty.

Dower Chin obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology from the Rochester Institute of Technology between 1989 and 1995.
