Kit Bonin, PhD has a diverse work experience in the field of science communication, grant writing, medical science liaison, biochemistry, and research. They are currently serving as the Associate Director of Science Communication at Calibr at Scripps Research since 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Grant Science Writer at The University of Connecticut Health Center from 2018 to 2022. They also served as a Medical Science Liaison Resource Developer at Genentech in 2017 and as a Group Leader and Senior Biochemist at Agrivida, Inc. from 2013 to 2017. Additionally, they have experience as a Medical Writer at Infusion Communications, a Project Lead and Research Scientist at Monsanto from 2005 to 2011, and as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Columbia University from 1999 to 2005.

Dr. Kit Bonin obtained their B.S. in Biology from the University of Rhode Island, where they studied from 1991 to 1995. They pursued further education and completed their PhD in Molecular and Cell Biology at the University of Connecticut from 1995 to 1999.
