Andy Wright is a seasoned professional in the life sciences industry, currently serving as the Country Manager for Calibre Scientific since August 2020, overseeing operational activities in the UK and managing a large multifunctional team. Prior to this role, Andy held positions as Head of Biological Manufacturing and General Manager within Calibre Scientific (UK), where responsibilities included directing scientific and business operations across multiple business units. From September 2008 to August 2020, Andy was the Operations Manager at BioServUK Ltd, specializing in the production and processing of bio-molecules, particularly antibodies. Andy's career began as a Post-Doctoral Research & Development Scientist at Axordia Ltd, focusing on the production and characterization of novel antibodies for stem cell research. Andy holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Immunology & Cell Biology from The University of Sheffield.
