Bryan King is a seasoned scientist currently serving as a Principal Scientist at Calico Life Sciences since July 2021, previously holding the title of Senior Scientist. Prior experience includes a role as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center from March 2015 to July 2021, where research focused on cancer cells' nutrient scavenging mechanisms. Bryan King earned a PhD in Cell and Molecular Biology from New York University between 2008 and 2014, with a thesis on ubiquitin ligases and Myc stability. Earlier career experiences include positions as a Staff Research Associate at the University of California, San Francisco, and as a Laboratory Technician at the USDA Agricultural Research Service. Bryan King obtained a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Biology from the University of California, Berkeley, in 2005.
