Hannah Baddock

Hannah Baddock is a Scientist II at Calico Life Sciences since June 2022, with a strong background in biochemistry and molecular biology. Previous experience includes a Postdoctoral Researcher position at the University of Oxford, where research focused on the structure and function of human MBL nucleases and their implications for genome integrity and disease. Additionally, Hannah served as a Tutor in Biochemistry at Magdalen College, University of Oxford, organizing tutorials for undergraduate students, and completed a DPhil in Oncology at the University of Oxford, investigating the SNM1B/Apollo exonuclease's role in telomere maintenance and DNA repair. Early research internships at the University of Otago involved studies on cytochrome c mutations and antioxidants' effects on LDL oxidation. Hannah's academic credentials include a PhD from the University of Oxford and a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from the University of Otago.
