Jiyeon Lee

Jiyeon Lee is an experienced scientist currently serving as Associate Director of Biomarker Discovery and Development at Calico Life Sciences, where responsibilities include leading a cross-functional biomarker team and collaborating on clinical programs alongside AbbVie. Prior roles include Principal Scientist and Sr. Scientist at Calico, focusing on robust biomarker data delivery and support for aging biomarker frameworks. Previous experience includes a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship at Genentech, emphasizing tissue-specific knockout mouse models for Alzheimer's research, and a Staff Scientist position at Washington University in St. Louis, where Jiyeon developed novel mouse models and conducted significant research in diabetic metabolism and mitochondrial function. Jiyeon holds a PhD in Molecular Cell Biology from Washington University and a Master of Science in Molecular Biology from Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology.
