Michelle Chan

Michelle Chan is a skilled research professional with extensive experience in molecular biology and cellular senescence. As a Principal Research Associate II at CalicoLabs since June 2015, Michelle has utilized multi-omics approaches to study cellular senescence in primary human fibroblasts and has generated single-cell transcriptomic maps for vascular calcification in mice. Michelle's prior role at Genentech involved supporting over 80 employees with protein chemistry and mammalian protein expression needs, while earlier work at Genencor focused on enzyme production and strain development for cellulosic ethanol projects.
