Located in Vila Viçosa — Portugal’s hidden gem — Calipo is an ecosystem of nature, wellness, and creativity. A hotel rooted in history yet embracing a new chapter composed of a XVII century palace with 14 rooms, 26 modern apartments, and glamping areas (coming soon) across its mythical lands.

Art, creativity, and a deep respect for the natural environment are at the center of this sustainable agritourism destination. In the heart of the Alentejo region, Calipo is an open space for encounters and celebrations, embracing art residencies, holistic retreats, and events ranging from music festivals to unforgettable weddings.
