Greg Holmes

Greg Holmes is an experienced executive in the manufacturing and operations sectors, currently serving as General Manager Magnesia at Calix Limited since December 2024. Previously, Greg held the position of Executive Vice President of Global Operations at IXOM, overseeing Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Group Quality Assurance from April 2020 to December 2024. Greg's extensive background includes various roles at Orica, where responsibilities spanned leading global manufacturing operations for ammonia, nitric acid, and explosives, driving significant cost savings and operational improvements. Greg's earlier career includes leadership positions at BME and Omnia Holdings, as well as foundational roles at AECI. Greg holds a Bachelor in Chemical Engineering from the University of Pretoria and advanced executive education from the London Business School and the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
