Christopher Bernard is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in fiber optic access technology, currently serving as an Engineering Fellow and Distinguished Member of Technical Staff at Calix since November 2000. In this role, Christopher leads cross-functional teams in the development of advanced technologies, specializing in ITU PON Architectures, FPGA design, and a variety of programming and engineering methodologies. Prior to this, Christopher held positions at Agilent Technologies as a Product Manager and Field Applications Engineer, as well as at Hewlett-Packard as an Electrical Engineer, focusing on microprocessor analysis products. Christopher holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, graduated with honors from the University of Minnesota, and a Master of Science in Technology Management from the University of St. Thomas.
