Derek Peters is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in operations management and engineering. Currently serving as Sr. Manager for Global Operations Transformational & Change Management at Calix since November 2016, Derek leads initiatives to enhance program management techniques and drive cross-functional change. Previously, Derek held roles such as Engineering Manager and Delivery Excellence Manager at Calix, and as Engineering Program Manager at Fujitsu Network Communications, where strategic goal-setting and customer relationship management were key responsibilities. Earlier experience includes providing engineering solutions at ITC Service Group, Inc. and managing retail sales at Verizon Wireless. Derek holds an MBA and multiple degrees from King University and an AAS in Electronic Engineering Technology from Northeast State Community College.
