Eric Holmberg

Eric Holmberg is a Principal Software Engineer at Calix, where responsibilities include coding and architecting the L2/L3 hardware abstraction layer for High Availability Access products since August 2016. Prior to Calix, experience includes developing an Information-Centric Networking Forwarder at PARC and leading the Dataplane Engineering Group at Cyan, Inc. Furthermore, contributions as Principal Systems Engineer/Architect at Tellabs involved defining technical requirements and overseeing implementation across various teams. Earlier roles include management of FPGA design efforts at Mahi Networks and leadership of ASIC/FPGA development at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory. Eric Holmberg holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley and UCLA, respectively.
