John Silovich is a seasoned product manager with substantial experience in the telecommunications industry. Currently serving as a Senior Product Manager at Calix since 2014, John has successfully developed the company’s first dual band Wi-Fi integrated layer 3 residential gateway solution, GigaCenter, and has acted as the liaison for its Cloud-based management system, Compass. Prior to Calix, John was a Staff Product Manager/Planner at Tellabs from 2005 to 2014, where responsibilities included product planning for the Access product portfolio and securing Verizon’s FIOS RFP. Earlier in his career, John held roles at Advanced Fibre Communications as Director of Network Management Solutions and Engineering Manager/General Manager, leading product commercialization and establishing a remote engineering office. John holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Milwaukee School of Engineering.
