Theodore Chen serves as Associate Vice President and Associate General Counsel at Calix, a position held since February 2022. With extensive experience in intellectual property and corporate law, Theodore previously held the role of Senior Managing Legal Director at Dell from September 2016 to September 2020, managing a team focused on various legal matters including mergers and acquisitions, technology transactions, and litigation. Prior to this, Theodore was Assistant General Counsel for Intellectual Property at Dell EMC from 2001 to 2016, leading the IP team in significant transactions. Additional experience includes serving as VP and General Counsel at Invenio Technologies and working at Cooley LLP as an associate. Theodore holds a BS in Computer Systems Engineering from Stanford University and a JD from Stanford Law School.
