Tom Pope

Tom Pope is a seasoned professional in the telecommunications industry, currently serving as the Regional Vice President of Sales Engineering at Calix since December 2018, after previously holding the position of Senior Solutions Engineer. Prior to joining Calix, Tom worked at ADTRAN from November 2010 to December 2018, where roles included Sales Engineer and Product Support Engineer, focusing on network design and troubleshooting across various technologies such as Ethernet and xDSL. Tom's career began at Ciena, where, from October 2005 to October 2010, significant contributions were made as a Senior Engineer, particularly on a large-scale layer Ethernet deployment at AT&T labs in New Jersey. Tom holds an Associate of Applied Science degree in Computer Network Systems from ITT, earned between 2004 and 2006.
