Ray Epstein

Ray Epstein is a recent graduate of Temple University, where they majored in Communication and Social Influence with a minor in English. They are a 2024 Maryland Truman Scholar and currently serve as the State Director for The Every Voice Coalition, focusing on bipartisan legislation to support student survivors of sexual violence. Ray founded Student Activists Against Sexual Assault (SAASA), leading initiatives that secured significant resources for advocacy and support. They have gained extensive experience in survivor advocacy through various roles with organizations such as the Maryland Coalition Against Sexual Assault and It's On Us, where they served as the national LGBTQ+ Caucus Chair. In the summer of 2025, Ray will intern at the U.S. District Courts and plans to pursue a career in law and public policy aimed at transforming systems for survivors.
