Andrei Khmelnitsky

Andrei Khmelnitsky is a seasoned data scientist and researcher with extensive experience in both applied and theoretical physics. Currently serving as the Fraud Data Science Lead at Callsign since August 2021, Andrei specializes in developing machine learning models for biometric authentication and fraud detection. Previous roles include Research Associate at Imperial College London, focusing on high energy physics and cosmology, and a Data Science Fellow at Science to Data Science, where Andrei built a predictive model for real estate. Andrei's postdoctoral experience spans prestigious institutions such as EPFL and CERN, with a strong focus on cosmology, field theory, and black hole physics. Andrei holds a PhD in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics from the Institute for Nuclear Research RAS in Moscow.
