Jeff May

Jeff May is a highly experienced software engineer with a focus on software development and engineering leadership. Currently serving as a Staff Software Engineer at Calm since June 2023, Jeff previously held the position of Senior Lead Software Engineer at Optum from October 2021 to March 2023, overseeing the Personalization Team. Jeff spent over six years at Rally Health as a Principal Software Engineer, leading the design and implementation of the Member Insights API and developing a custom Scala embedded DSL called Vapors. With earlier roles at Audax Health, Feastly, SmartBrief, and Zope Corporation, Jeff has demonstrated expertise in various programming languages and technologies, showcasing a strong background in web development and team leadership. Jeff obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Mary Washington in 2010.
