Foon Rhee

Foon Rhee is a seasoned journalism professional with extensive experience in various editorial roles. Currently serving as Deputy Editor at CalMatters since February 2021, Foon previously worked as Editor at Sacramento News & Review from November 2018 to February 2021. Prior to that, Foon held the position of Associate Editor at The Sacramento Bee from February 2010 to November 2018, and served as Deputy National Political Editor and City Editor at The Boston Globe from August 2004 to January 2010. Additional experience includes roles as Local Political Editor at The News & Observer from 2000 to 2004 and as a Reporter at The Charlotte Observer from 1984 to 1999. Foon Rhee earned a degree from Duke University between 1981 and 1984.
