CalMutuals is the voice of small water systems in California. Founded in 2013, CalMutuals has grown from 14 to 300 members statewide.  Our organizing principle is that larger mutual water companies are uniting to help the smaller water systems in California - as a template for California water suppliers of all types.  The smaller scale and remote location of many mutual water companies makes it necessary to deliver free or low-cost technical and managerial assistance tools to those who need them.  The need is driven by older infrastructure as well as complex and expensive regulations that are common place in California.
