Stefano Ruffini

Stefano Ruffini has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Stefano started their career as a Researcher at Fondazione Ugo Bordoni from 1990 to 1992. Stefano then worked at Ericsson Telecomunicazioni Italia as a Hardware Designer and System Manager from 1993 to 1997, where they were responsible for HW and system design.

From 1997 to 2000, Stefano worked at Ericsson UAB (Stockholm-Sweden) as a System and Product Manager. During this time, they were involved in the Ericsson Network Synchronization team, product management, and customer service deliveries. Stefano also served as an Ericsson delegate in various standardization bodies.

In 2001, Stefano joined Ericsson Lab Italy / Marconi as a Product Manager. Stefano was responsible for system and product network synchronization activities and served as an expert for network synchronization in IP networks at the Ericsson Business Unit Network. Stefano held this position until 2007.

From 2008 to 2022, Stefano worked at Ericsson as an Expert R&D. Stefano was involved in Ericsson Research and served as the ITU-T SG15 Q13 Rapporteur. Stefano also played a crucial role in defining mobile backhaul and fronthaul solutions.

Currently, as of September 2022, Stefano is serving as the Strategic Technology Manager at Calnex Solutions.
