Bo Long

Bo Long has over 25 years of experience in the energy sector, currently serving as the Director of Transmission for Nodal Market Analytics and Trading at Calpine since February 2013. Prior to Calpine, Bo was the Director of Modeling & Analysis for Transmission & Power at GenOn/NRG Energy following the merger in December 2012 and held the position of Manager of Transmission Analysis at Reliant Energy from January 2006 to September 2009. Bo began a career in power engineering and software development at GE, serving as a Staff Engineer from July 1997 to December 2005. Bo holds a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Iowa State University and a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the Florida Institute of Technology, in addition to a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology.
